We are seeking interested families to host college baseball players who will be temporarily “relocating” to Joplin to play for the “Joplin OUTLAWS”.   Potential host families will provide free room & board for college-age baseball players.  Most players will have their own transportation but, if not, will be paired with another player who has transportation (provided the family can host more than one player).  The players will be responsible for their own food & entertainment while in Joplin (although part of the “fun” is cooking for, eating out with, & entertaining the players!).

While no one can fully assure that problems won’t happen, we have never had any  significant issues with the players we’ve brought to Joplin.  In fact, they are here to play BASEBALL!  We would hope that the host families would enjoy coming to the games to root on their players and the team.  We will have a “Host Family Welcome Picnic” on Wednesday, June 2nd (after practice).  We will have a “Player Family Picnic” during the season in which the player can invite his family to town to see the games.
