We are seeking interested families to host college baseball players who will be temporarily “relocating” to Joplin to play for the Joplin OUTLAWS.   Host families provide room & board for the players.  Most players will have their own transportation but, if not, will be paired with another player who has transportation (provided the family can host more than one player).  The players will be responsible for their own food & entertainment while in Joplin (although part of the “fun” of hosting is cooking for, eating out with, & entertaining the players!). 

Our host families receive season passes and will enjoy coming to the games to cheer on their players and the team.  We will have a “Host Family Welcome Picnic” in June.  We also have a “Player Family Picnic” during the season in which the player can invite his family to town to see the games.  

If you would like to be involved as a Host Family, be assured that our Board of Directors will maintain close contact to assure that any problems you experience are handled in an appropriate manner and you always have a network of support from the other families.
